Laynee Hoffman and Maddy Mitchell earned First Team

Maddy Mitchell was also recognized as Defensive Player of the year for her Blocking Skills at the net.

Ellie Hansen earned Second Team

Up and Coming Underclassman went to Michaela Bremer

Maddy Mitchell was one of 4 players in our Region #7 Division #3 to receive All-Region Honors.  After making the All-Region team this gave Maddy the opportunity to make an All-State team.

Maddy Mitchell also received All-State Honorable Mention which is a huge accomplishment for all her hard work and determination over her volleyball career.

As a team they earned Academic All-State with a 3.82 GPA which is a huge accomplishment, showing how hard they work in the classroom as well as the court.

We also had the following Seniors earn Individual Academic All-State:  Brooklin Armstrong, Laynee Hoffman, Lylah Larson, Sienna Larson, Alyssa Miller and Maddy Mitchell.

Varsity Volleyball Finishes Season 32-8-2 With A Tough Loss To Morley Stanwood In The District Finals

Posted on 11/12/2025

The Varsity Volleyball team played the Morley Stanwood Mohawks for the fourth time in the district finals on Thursday, November 6th on the Mohawks home court. These two teams are remarkably familiar with each other and when they play each other the crowd is in for a great volleyball match. The Eagles would come out fired up and playing hard with some aggressive swings and great defensive plays. The first was a close back and forth battle with the Eagles earning the victory 25-20. The second set again was much of the same with both teams making great plays on offense and defense. Neither team was willing to give up any easy points. The Eagles would take a small lead only to see the Mohawks come back and tie it up at 21. Both teams would continue to exchange points back and forth, but the Mohawks would pull out the tight one 27-25. The third set was another great battle, but the Eagles found themselves fighting a few points behind much of the set. With the Eagles down 19-23, Milah Mollien would go back to serve. A kill by Lylah Larson would give the Eagles another point before the Mohawks would call a timeout. An overpass by the Mohawks off from Milah’s serve would give Kenzy an opportunity for the kill to make the score 21-23. Some great plays by both teams would set up a kill by Laynee Hoffman with another Eagle point. This would cause the Mohawks to call their final timeout. A great setup on the next play by Alyssa Miller to Lylah would earn another kill and tie the score up at 23. The next point would be earned on a long volley with more great plays by both teams, but the Mohawks would earn the kill. The Eagles would fall short once again 25-23. The fourth set the Eagles would be looking to come back and tie the match up. They played hard and were scrappy and never gave up. This match was a very intense match and both teams were working hard to not see their season end. The Mohawks had some great plays to take control of the set, and the Eagles would work to make a comeback, but fell short 18-25. This was one of the best matches of the entire season by both teams. They brought the best out in each other and showed great sportsmanship the entire match. Although we may have been disappointed that we did not get the win, our girls need to hold their heads high and proud. This was a great match, and they left it all on the court. Thank you to all the fans who were there to support the team. I could not be more proud of them and all that they accomplished this season. This group was a fun hard-working group that never gave up with great comebacks. They just focused on the next play.

Seniors, we will miss all of you. You all set such a fitting example for all the younger athletes to see. Your hard work, determination and teamwork were so much fun to watch and be a part of. Your volleyball skills have grown so much over the years, but this year they really took a big jump in growth. Alyssa, Brooklin, Laynee, Lylah, Maddy, Milah and Sienna thank you so much for your dedication to the volleyball program. You have all left your mark in the volleyball program. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

I would like to thank the entire team for a great season and helping to make some great memories! I know it was an emotional night to see end, but you put on a great display for everyone in the stands to see! Our final season record was 32-8-2! Wonderful job Lady Eagles!

Varsity Volleyball Beats The Wildcats In District Semifinals

Posted on 11/12/2025

The Varsity Volleyball team played the Lakeview Wildcats on Wednesday, November 5th in the district semifinals. They would start out with a small lead before the Wildcats would come storming back. This set would continue to be a back-and-forth battle with the Eagles coming out on top 25-23. The second set was not a great set for the Eagles, too many mistakes and not enough energy and they would find the Wildcats evening up the match with the win 25-20. This did not sit well with the Eagles, and they would come out fighting to get the win and move on. They did that by playing much more aggressively on offense and defense. A long serving run by Ellie Hansen would help the Eagles take control early. They would win the third set 25-9. The final set the Wildcats were not going to give up, but the Eagles would win 25-15 thanks to two long serve runs by Alyssa Miller and some great hitting by the Eagles. This would set up a rematch with the Morley Stanwood Mohawks in the district finals. This would be the fourth time they have played each other this season.

Michaela Bremer 2 points, 3 aces, 3 kills and 9 digs

Kenzy Freeland 6 points, 1 ace, 7 kills and 2 blocks

Varsity Volleyball Goes 3-2 In Final Week of Regular Season

Posted on 11/04/2025

The Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Grant on Wednesday night for a quad.  The first match of the night was against the Sparta Spartans.  The Eagles took control early with some aggressive offense and kept the lead to win the first set 25-21.  The Eagles had the lead until late in the second set and went down 21-22. They would call a timeout to try and change some momentum.  Sparta would earn one more point before the Eagles would set the ball up for a kill by Kenzy Freeland making the score 22-23. The Lady Eagles would tie it up with a block by Kenzy and Alyssa Miller.  A kill by Sparta would once again give them the lead.  A missed serve by Sparta would once again tie the score up. An ace by Kenzy and an aggressive attack by Ellie Hansen would not allow Sparta to return the ball.  The Eagles would win 26-24.

The second match of the night was against the Cedar Springs Red Hawks.  The Eagles would play aggressive and would win the first set 25-18.  The second set the Eagles found themselves in a big hole and had to work hard to get out of it.  The Eagles kept trying to chip away the score after being down by seven points early on.  They would pull within 5 when Kenzy would go on a long serve run tying the game up at 19.  The Red Hawks would pull back ahead 23-21 before a kill by Michaela would give the ball back to the Eagles.  A block by Maddy Mitchell would tie the game up at 23 with the Red Hawks calling their last timeout.  The Eagles would earn the next point before the Red Hawks would get a kill to have it tied again at 24.  A back and forth volley would end with a kill by Maddy to once again put the Eagles up 25-24.  Two kills by Cedar Springs would put them up 26-25. Some great defensive plays and aggressive swings would cause the Red Hawks to have a hitting error and once again the score was tied. An ace by Michaela Bremer would put the Eagles up by one.  The Eagles would earn the winning point on a Red Hawk hitting error, final score 28-26.  The last opponent on the night would be the Grant Tigers.  The Eagles would start out slow and struggle to get much going and lost the match 19-25, 20-25.

The Lady Eagles would be right back in action on Thursday night in a Tri-match at Fremont.  They would start the night out with the host Packers.  The first set would be a back and forth battle early on until the midway point when Ellie Hansen would go on a 3 point serving run with two aces to put the Eagles up 17-13.  From that point the Eagles would play aggressive and made some great plays and would earn the win 25-22.  The second set would once again be close at the beginning only for the Eagles to find themselves behind 16-20 calling their first timeout. A perfect serve receive pass by Milah Mollien and a great set by Alyssa Miller would set Kenzy Freeland up for the kill coming out of the timeout.  The Packers would earn the next point on a kill.  A volley would give the Eagles another kill by Kenzy to make the score 18-21.  Kenzy would go back to serve and would go on a four point serving run.  During this run the Eagles would have some great plays. Maddy Mitchell would swing for the kill at point 19. Ellie would follow up for point 20 with a kill of her own. The next point would be earned on an error by the Packers followed by another kill by Maddy. The Packers would earn the sideout making the score tied at 22.  Another long volley would end with a kill by Maddy forcing Fremont to call a timeout down 22-23.  An error by the Packers would give the Eagles a point.  The Packers however would earn the next point on a kill making the score 24-23 in favor of the Eagles.  A perfect serve receive pass by Laynee Hoffman to Alyssa would set up Maddy for the kill and the win 25-23.

The last match of the night would be against Reeths Puffer.  The Eagles struggled in the first set making the adjustments to their taller opponent.  They would struggle to get anything going and would lose the first set 12-25.  The Eagles would play better the second set, but just didn’t have enough to pull out the win and lost 20-25.

The Lady Eagles will start district play on Wednesday evening at 7:00 at Morley Stanwood against Lakeview.  We hope to see you all there to support your Lady Eagles.

3-PEAT!!! CSAA Tournament Champions

Updated on 10/28/2025

The Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Morley Stanwood on Saturday to play in the Eleven Team CSAA League Tournament.  The Eagles would start out against the number three seed from the Red Division which was the Grant Tigers.  The Eagles and Tigers split in their earlier match-up of the season. The first set was a tight one until Kenzy Freeland went on a 5 point serving run with the Eagles swinging for a couple kills in that run along with some hitting errors by the Tigers.  The Eagles would end up winning the first set 25-21.  The second set the Eagles didn’t play as aggressive offensively allowing The Tigers to be in control.  The Eagles would battle, but came up just short 23-25.  The Eagles played much more aggressive and took control of the deciding set winning 15-9.

In the semifinals the Eagles would play #1 Reed City who finished as Co-Champions in the Red Division. The Eagles played them in the first tournament of the season way back in August in the finals of their tournament.  They lost to the Coyotes in two sets in that match-up.  The Lady Eagles definitely didn’t worry about what happened last time. The Eagles started out strong and continued to play aggressively and won the first set 25-15.  The second set was much of the same as the first and the Eagles were determined to make it to the finals.  They did just that by finishing off the match by winning the second set 25-19.  CSAA Tournament finals here we come!

The Eagles had to wait to see who their opponent would be between Morley Stanwood and Newaygo.  The Mohawks would beat Newaygo to have the Eagles and Mohawks once again battle it out on the court after just playing each other Tuesday night.

The first set of the finals was a rough one for the Eagles.  The Eagles really struggled to get anything going and the Mohawks didn’t make many mistakes.  The Eagles lost 12-25.  This loss the Eagles put behind them and just went out to play hard and have fun. The Eagles started playing aggressively and with confidence and were determined force a third set. They did just that by beating the Mohawks 25-18.  This would set up the exciting deciding set for the championship match.  The Mohawks would score the first point of the set before Alyssa Miller would go on a 3 point serve run including an ace to put the Eagles up 4-2 before The Mohawks got the ball back.  A kill by Michaela Bremer would give the Eagles the side out and the score 5-3.  Ellie Hansen would go back to serve and with some great heads up plays followed up by two kills by Laynee Hoffman made the score 7-3 with Morley Stanwood calling their first timeout.  Out of the timeout Laynee with the hot hand would hit for another kill for a point and then would follow that up with a big block and then a hitting error by the Mohawks would make the score 10-3. Morley would earn the next two points before the Eagles earned it back, however it would go right back to the Mohawks before Laynee would attack the ball for another kill.  A long volley would be followed up by a kill from the Mohawks, but Kenzy Freeland would make an aggressive play at the end of another long volley to earn herself a kill.  This would make the Eagles up 13-7 with Laynee going back to serve.  The Mohawks would call their last timeout.  Out of the timeout both teams would make some great plays, but Ellie Hansen would take an aggressive swing off the blockers and get the kill to set up match point.  The Mohawks would earn a few points off some aggressive swings and make the score 14-11 with Kent City calling a timeout to get the team to regroup.  The Eagles would come out of the timeout not letting a ball hit the floor and would get a hard swing from Ellie to earn the kill and give the Eagles the win 15-11. Thank you to our great fans who were there to support us and cheer us on throughout the day!!

This makes it three years in a row as CSAA League Tournament Champions!  Great job Lady Eagles!

They will be back in action on Wednesday night at Grant in a quad starting at 5:00, we hope to see you there.

Varsity Volleyball Senior Night Ends With Eagles Finishing As CSAA White Co-Champions

Posted on 10/26/2025

The Varsity Volleyball Team played the Mohawks on Tuesday night.  We also celebrated Senior night for our seven seniors.  The Eagles had a one game lead in the league standings going into the night.  The first match was a tight battle with the Eagles losing a tight one 24-26.  The next two sets would have the Eagles making some great plays, but just didn’t have enough aggressive offense to get the win and lost 17-25 and 16-25.  The Eagles played hard and didn’t give up and end the regular league season as CSAA White Co-Champions with the Mohawks.

This was also the Seniors last game on their home court.  We would recognize Brooklin Armstrong, Laynee Hoffman, Lylah Larson, Sienna Larson, Alyssa Miller, Maddy Mitchell and Milah Mollien for their years of dedication to the volleyball program.  These student-athletes have had lots of success on and off the court and have set a great example for the younger athletes.  We will miss each of them and wish them all the best in their future.

The Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to White Cloud on Tuesday night in a key CSAA league match.  White Cloud came ready to challenge the Eagles.  The first set was a close one until the Indians took a lead late in the set forcing the Eagles to fight from behind.  They fought hard, but the Eagles would fall short 22-25.  The second set again was a battle as the Indians played great defense and weren’t letting many balls hit the floor.  The Eagles had some great plays of their own to win 25-21.  The third set would be another tight one and once again they had to fight from behind.  The stayed focused and tried to limit their mistakes and pulled out the win 25-19 to put them up 2-1.  The fourth set would go back and forth with both teams having some great plays.  It would go to extra points, but the Eagles would prevail 26-24.  Great job Ladies!  They will be back in action on Tuesday night at home in a big league match against The Morley Stanwood Mohawks starting at approximately 7:00 pm.  We will also be celebrating our seniors prior to the start of the match.  Please come out and show your support!

Emotional Day For A Great Cause; Varsity Volleyball Dig Pink Champions

Posted on 10/07/2025

The Varsity Volleyball Team held their 8 team Dig Pink Invitational on Saturday.  This event is about so much more than the game of volleyball!  They are playing for those who have battled cancer and raising money for the Side-Out Foundation.  It was a great day of volleyball in a very hot gym!
The host Eagles would start out the day against the Orchard View Cardinals.  The first set would start out to be a back and forth battle before the Eagles would take control with Laynee Hoffman and Kenzy Freeland going on some long serving runs with some aggressive offense from the team.  The first set went to the Eagles 25-15.  The second set the Cardinals would start out with the serve, but the Eagles would get a kill to get the ball right back.  This is when Kenzy would go back to serve up 18 straight points.  She would serve up some aces in this stretch along with her team playing some strong defense and offense.  The Eagles would go on to win this set 25-4.
The second match in pool play would be against the Grant Tigers.  This would be a very competitive match.  The Eagles took charge early in the first set and would win 25-19.  The second set the momentum shifted to the Tigers and the Eagles fought from behind the entire set, but came up short 22-25.
Their last opponent in pool play was Zion Christian.  Their opponent had much more height than the Eagles, however the Eagles worked hard and didn’t let that intimidate them and won the match 25-14, 25-17.
The Lady Eagles would come out of pool play in first place in their pool and match up against the fourth place team of the other pool, the Tri-County Vikings.  The Eagles started out with some strong offense and serving and won the first set 25-8.  The second set the Vikings came out fighting to make it a closer set than the first.  The Eagles however continued to be aggressive and won 25-17. This would put them in the semifinals against the Newaygo Lions.  Newaygo has a good team and a very strong hitter that the Eagles would have to face.  The Eagles accepted the challenge and would come out hustling for every ball.  The Eagles found themselves behind 15-17 calling their first timeout.  Trying to keep calm and under control they would come out of the timeout and would earn the ball back right away.  There would continue to be many long volleys and great plays by both teams.  The Eagles however found themselves behind 19-22 late in the set before they would come fighting back to tie it up at 22.  The Lions would earn the next point to go up 23-22.  A great serve receive pass from Laynee to Alyssa Miller would set up the kill by Kenzy to tie it back up at 23.  The next point would be earned by the Eagles off a dig by Michaela Bremer to Alyssa to again Kenzy for the kill to give the Eagles set point.  The winning point of the set would come off a hitting error by Newaygo to give the Eagles the first set win 25-23.  The second set the Eagles made some adjustments and took an early lead and never looked back winning 25-21.  This would put the Eagles in the finals against  a tall Calvin Christian Squires team.  The Eagles would take an early lead only to watch the Squires come swinging back to get within a few points.  The Eagles would continue to work hard at trying to keep the ball away from their tall blockers.  The first set would go to the Eagles 25-19.  The second set took quite the momentum shift in favor of the Squires and the Eagles found themselves fighting from behind early and struggling to keep the offense going.  The Squires would tie the match up by winning 25-16.  The third and deciding set would be another momentum shift this time going to the Eagles as they were determined to bring home the championship for all those that have battled cancer.  Kenzy would start out the set serving the first point of the set on an error by the Squires, the next point was earned by the Eagles on a big block by Maddy Mitchell.  The next two points were by Kenzy serving up back to back aces.  This would give the Eagles the 4-0 lead before the Squires would earn the sideout.  Back and forth exchanges of sideouts before the Eagles would go up 8-2 with The Squires calling their first timeout.  Again exchanges of points would take place and then Michaela would serve up an ace forcing them to call their final timeout with your Eagles up 11-5.  The Squires would earn the next two points before they would each exchange points once again making the score 12-8 with the Eagles earning point 13 off a long volley that ended with a kill from Ellie Hansen.  Kenzy would go back to serve once again and another volley would set up Ellie once again for the kill over top of the block to set up match point.  Kenzy would serve a ball deep and serve up an ace to win the match!  Super proud of you all!  Winning the tournament was the icing on the cake!  So far this season they have raised over $9,000 for the Side-Out Foundation.  Thanks to all of those who showed your support on Saturday!  They will be back in action on Tuesday night in a league match against the Central Montcalm Hornets starting at 7:00. Theme is a pink out!

Exciting, Dramtic Comeback Win For The Varsity Volleyball Team Against The Mohawks

Posted on 09/26/2025

The Varsity Volleyball Team made the trip to Morley Stanwood on Tuesday night in a match with both teams undefeated in the CSAA White Division.  The first set showed this would be a great match as both teams would battle back and forth with many great plays.  The Eagles however fell short 22-25.  The second set would be very similar up until midway when some mistakes would put the Eagles behind and they would lose 17-25. The Eagles continued to play calm and were making adjustments to help them win this set 25-20.  The fourth started out rough for the Eagles as they were struggling to get anything going.  They would call their first timeout down 6-10 in which we talked about believing and working hard out there.  Unfortunately, we had to use our last timeout on the same server with the score 6-14.  The largest deficit the Lady Eagles were down was 7-17 and that is when they really started chipping away at the score and would come flying back to get themselves back into the game.  Timely hitting and great defensive plays would put them right back in it.  With the score at 21-23 Michaela Bremer would go back to serve and some great passing on defense would set up Laynee Hoffman for the kill.  The next point would once again go to the Eagles tying the set at 23.  Michaela would serve an ace to earn the go ahead point at 24-23.  The last point of the game was some great passing again and staying calm but playing aggressive and Kenzy Freeland would put the ball away for the dramatic 10 point comeback 25-23.  This would set up the fifth and deciding set which would again be a great one and keep the fans on the edge of their seats.  The Mohawks would earn the first point of the set before the Eagles would get the ball back.  The Eagles would take a two point lead before the Mohawks would get the ball back.  It then was an exchange of sideouts with the Eagles continuing to keep the small lead that never went more than three points.  With the score 9-7 Laynee would go back to the service line.  After a long volley the Eagles would earn another point making it 10-7 making the Mohawks call their first timeout.  The next point would be earned by the Eagles on an ace by Laynee.  Another aggressive serve would keep the Mohawks out of system causing them to send the Eagles a free ball.  The Eagles took advantage and Alyssa Miller would set up Kenzy for the kill.  Another Ace by Laynee would take the score to 13-7 with the Mohawks calling their last timeout.  A long volley with an amazing one handed save by Laynee keeping the ball in play and the Mohawks would have a hitting error to set up match point.  Once again some more great defensive plays by both teams would continue the battle, but Alyssa would set the ball up to Ellie Hansen on the outside and she would take a strong aggressive swing to earn the kill.  The Eagles would earn the reverse sweep win in dramatic fashion.  Thank you to all of those who were there to support the team.  The Eagle fans were definitely loud even though we were small in numbers!  Great Job Ladies for staying calm and playing great team volleyball!  You made everyone proud and it was a great homecoming week win!

Varsity Volleyball Finishes 2-2 At Viking Invite

Posted on 09/23/2025

The Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Whitehall on Saturday for the Viking Invite that featured 8 teams.  They started off the morning playing the Western Michigan Christian Warriors.  This was a close match with the Eagles leading the first set up until point 21 when the Warriors would take the lead 22-21.  The last few points continued to be a battle with the Eagles losing a tight one 26-28.  The second set was another tough won with the Eagles losing 19-25.

The next opponent of the morning would be against Wellspring Prep.  The Eagles  made this a quick match by winning 25-5 and 25-10.  A great team effort was given by all.

Their third match was against the Shelby Tigers who the Eagles had played a week ago.  The Eagles took the lead playing some scrappy volleyball and won 25-19.  The second set was a different story as the Eagles had too many unforced errors and lost 14-25 setting up the third and deciding set.  The Eagles and Tigers exchanged points until Milah Mollien went back to serve and would serve up 4 aces and 6 points to give the Eagles a lead and they would win 15-11.

This would give them a second place finish in their pool and would have them playing the second place team from the other pool, which would be the Reeths-Puffer Rockets.  This would be a great matchup with the Eagles having a lead in both sets only to see it get away from them late and would lose both sets by tight scores of 23-25 and 22-25.  The Lady Eagles will be on the road at Morley Stanwood on Tuesday night in a big league match starting at 7:00 pm.  We hope to see you there!

The second match against the Tigers was a long and exciting battle.  The Lady Eagles struggled to start the match and would call their first timeout down 3-10.  This timeout didn’t help the Eagles and they would call their final final timeout down 7-17.  Knowing that they could play better than they were, they came out ready to fight back.  Fight back is exactly what they would do.  They would get the ball back and Kenzy Freeland would go back to serve and she would go on a long serve run serving up 5 aces out of the 13 points she would serve.  Her teammates would have some great plays in this stretch as well and they would force the Tigers to call both timeouts in her serving stretch.  The Eagles would go ahead 21-17 before the Tigers would earn the ball back.  The Eagles would hang on and win the first set 25-20 after being down by 10 points.  After fighting so hard in the first set, the Eagles were unable to carry the momentum into the second set and lost 19-25.  In the third and deciding set the Tigers would take an early lead and the Eagles would call a timeout down 13-19.  We talked about taking care of the ball and getting better passing to get our offense going.  The Lady Eagles would once again continue to fight and chip away at the point differential.  With the Eagles down 19-22, Ellie Hansen would go back to serve and with some timely blocking and hitting by her teammates, her serve placement along with an ace the Eagles would pull out another exciting comeback 25-22.  They will be back in action on Tuesday night at home against the White Cloud Indians in a league matchup.  We hope to see you there!

Next up the Eagles played Covenant Christian and all three sets were very close and competitive but the Eagles could just not come away with a set victory losing 25-27, 23-25 and 18-25. Moving on then to bracket play matched up the ladies with West Michigan Christian. The first set the ladies came out slow and could not recover losing 22-25. Not wanting to go home early though, they dug deep and fought back to take sets 2 & 3 with scores of  25-20 and 15-11. In the semi-finals the Eagles played Ludington who just came off a big win defeating Covenant but the ladies were ready and came out strong and took Ludington in two close sets  27-25 and 25-23. This placed the Eagles in the finals of their second tournament in this young season! The ladies would run into a very strong South Christian team in the finals and struggled to get anything going against their high powered serving and fast offense and lost in two sets 14-25 and 12-25.  Very proud of the ladies for a strong showing taking home another second place finish in a big tournament this early in the season. The Eagles are back in action Tuesday night at Central Montcalm at 5:30pm.

Updated on 09/11/2025

The Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Reed City on August 23rd to play in an 11 team Invitational .  The Lady Eagles started out pool play slow against Glen Lake.  They decided to wake up and cleaned up their game to come away with the win 25-19 and 25-8.  Their next opponent would be against Bear Lake.  The Eagles took charge early and would win 25-11 and 25-15.  Their last opponent in pool play was against a very competitive Lake City team.  The Eagles took an early lead only to see it fade away, but would pull out the win 25-22.  The next set the Eagles found themselves behind.  They would battle but couldn’t fight their way back falling 20-25.
The Lady Eagles earned the 2 seed out of their pool and would face the 2 seed from pool C, who was Mason County Central.  They would start out strong and would never look back winning the match 25-13 and 25-19.

This would place them in the semifinals against a tall Buckley team.  The Eagles found themselves making too many mistakes and just not taking care of the ball and would call their last timeout down 10-18.  They would battle and play better after that and came back only to fall 22-25.  Both teams would trade points back and forth until the Eagles called a timeout down 11-15.  Kenzy Freeland would go on a big serve run serving up 6 points and  2 aces.  This was a great momentum run and the Eagles would continue to play hard and would win the set 25-21.  The third set would determine who would go to the finals.  This set each team would battle back and forth up until the score tied at 9-9.  This is when Kenzy would go on another serve run and serve out the match with 2 aces along with some great team offense and defense. The final score was 15-9 in favor of your Eagles.
The Eagles would face the host Coyotes in the finals.  They would struggle passing the ball which made it hard to get the offense going and would lose 14-25.  The second set they would put up a strong fight, but lost 25-27.  It was a great day for your Eagles with lots of improvements made.
