For the first time in over 15 years, there will be NO athletic fee for the 2025-26 season at Kent City Community Schools.   After years careful consideration, we have decided to eliminate the fee for those in middle school and high school sports in an effort to remove barriers that might prevent our student-athletes from participating in school athletics.   We will find other ways to take care of the costs of those things that the athletic fee previously covered.  One thing we WILL need help with though is finding people to help us run home athletic events.   We will still be offering the opportunity to volunteer, but instead of covering an athletic fee, instead, each event worked will be put towards a family pass to allow families into most home Kent City contests for free.   These passes will also be available for purchase.
